Hi — I’m a developer in Korea, born in ’91, writing here under the pen name 91년생개발자 (“a ’91 developer”).
By day I build software; AI is part of how I work now, not a someday thing. Using it every day left me with a bigger question I couldn’t shake — where is this all heading, for our jobs, our companies, and the world we’re walking into? This blog is where I think that through: I read the research, follow the line from a single study out to organizations and nations, and write down what I find. AI helps me draft; the reading, the arguing, and the editing are mine.
A few things I try to stick to:
- Source the numbers. Every statistic points back to where it came from (MIT, NBER, RAND, and so on). If I can’t verify a figure, I leave it out.
- One idea at a time. Short essays, published often, rather than long sprawling posts.
- Two languages. Most pieces run in both Korean and English.
If a claim catches your eye, the sources are right there to follow. Maybe it all adds up to a book someday. For now, it’s a hobby I take seriously — and enjoy.
